Community Publishing: Uxbridge Town Talk
In November 2009, Sweet World Media added to our community publishing. We now publish a monthly, print magazine called Uxbridge Town Talk for residents in and around the small {wonderful} town of Uxbridge, Ontario. We focus on all things Uxbridge and we are so happy to have created something so special.

Marketing Material for Your Small Business
Since I have moved to a new town I thought I should get some business cards and other marketing materials made up and printed to help spread the word about my business. As a web designer, I mostly work on referrals; but thought I might try some marketing to help increase business. I do love though that 90% of my business is referrals. And I am starting a program that if you refer a client to Sweet World Media, I will give you 50% of your hosting for the following year.

OOAK Wordpress Template
I’ve been on vacation for the last week as we moved to our new house in Uxbridge. So, if you know of anyone or any business looking for a web designer in and around Uxbridge please let me know. While I was off from actual client work, I worked on a few fun designs.
This one I love is called, Swim With The Fishes. It is a Wordpress Template and is One of A Kind! The template comes with the following:
- Design as is — I will design the header with your name and tagline
- Favicon
- You can choose to add another colum on the right or left side of the articles
The price is $150 for template, which includes installation on simple scripts. You can easily make this an e-commerce website using PayPal for $150 for 10 products, and then I can teach you how to add your own! You could have your own great looking store front for only $300. Just Launched: A Baby Birdie Told Me…
I am super excited about my latest project that has just gone live. We’ll be testing over the next week, but wanted to share a design that I am in LOVE with. The owner, of “A Baby Birdie Told Me…”, Dina came up with the name, tag line, which I love (Tweet Treats from Baby & Mom) and the idea of blue and birds and I went from there.
A Baby Birdie Told Me is your one stop shop for couture style diaper cakes and newborn baby accessories.
What better way to celebrate the arrival of a baby than with A Baby Birdie Told Me diaper cake? These cakes are made from layers of disposable diapers and are decorated with luxurious ribbon and trims. They are also launching an eco-friendly diaper cake this week! How cool is that!?!
We did everything from their website, to online ads, business cards and more. A whole idenity package for this new business.
Just launched: Dr. Eileen Lo
I am happy to announce about another happy client!
Dr. Eileen Lo is a kids dentist in Ajax, Ontario and hers practice is a boutique paediatric dental practice with an intimate and home-like surrounding. It was great fun to work on this website, which now gives Dr. Lo the power to make edits and changes to the site herself. I love her zest for life, music and her commitment to kids heath!
